ABOUT
Taryn Chong (they/them) is an illustrator from the Bay Area (Ohlone land) and currently based in Laguna Beach, CA. They experiment with mixed media while creating, often inspired by punk collage art. You can also find them combing through secondhand books, blasting pop-punk music, or trying to keep up their Japanese.
Throughout my picture book, illustration, and poster work, I explore what is possible when we refuse the status quo.
